Motivation for Entrepreneurs

Any stopping is a failure to move forward and the expectations of self can be crushing to the point of inaction. But move forward regardless.

I definitely get those days.. but then I picture myself in my death bed and say “would i rather of went through life playing it safe or had a crack at discovering my potential?”

I always choose the latter. -/u/Hchraim

All the time. If you’re not constantly on the rollercoaster of “I love my life” and “I should have stayed at McDonald’s” you’re not pushing hard enough. Why is that an issue? Because if you have some magical cushy industry with fat margins and no competition someone will notice one day and eat your lunch.

You need to constantly be growing and improving or you will be falling behind.

It’s actually like that for employees too, they just don’t feel it as directly or quickly as the self-employed.

Either you love it and you’re in it because the rollercoaster is how you play and feel alive or you’re going to burn out when you can’t ignore reality anymore. Most entrepreneurs just don’t make more money or work less than the average person. Statistically you will work more and be paid less.

But at least you can sleep easy knowing that it is all your fault and you can do something about it. You can get better. -/u/danielsaid

The biggest risk to your future isn’t your competition. It’s the distractions you insist on keeping in your life. Rather than doing what you know you should be doing but aren’t. People delay doing things they don’t like longer than it takes to do them. – Alex Hormozi
